Meeting on Primary Sector and Cattle Slaughterhouse in Aegiali, Amorgos

A working meeting regarding support for the primary sector on Amorgos took place between the Mayor of the island, Lefteris Karaiskos, and the Regional Vice-Governor for Primary Sector of the South Aegean, Filimon Zannetidis.

The discussions focused on the challenges faced by farmers, livestock breeders, and fishermen on the island, as well as ways to support their activities. Additionally, funding for the construction of a cattle slaughterhouse in the Aegiali area was examined.

According to official information, the municipal authority aims to cooperate with the South Aegean Region to advance solutions for local producers' needs and create growth prospects for the local economy.
